HYBRID MOBILE APP DEVELOPER

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop hybrid mobile applications & deliver across the entire app life cycle concept,
design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores

Gather requirements with cross functional stakeholders around functionality and
translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions, Build prototypes before

the actual development

Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
Work directly with the tech team to conceptualise, build, test, and realise products.

Test the app on devices and Deploy on Apple Store & Google Play Store
Standardising the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands
with minimal duplication of effort and Optimising performance for the apps

Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies

Required Skills:

Minimum 2+ year experience in developing mobile apps for iOS and Android platforms
Experience of Ionic v4+ or React or Phone-gap or any other mobile framework is a must
Excellent knowledge in Hybrid Mobile app and Web application development
Experience in working with API integration, Payment gateway integration, Google Maps,
Push Notification, etc

Experience using web services (HTTP, REST, SOAP) using JSON
Good knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and Multi-threading concepts
Good knowledge of the SQLite database, Local storage, and the Google Play Services
like Push Notifications

Strong mobile UI design (multi-screen resolutions), coding, support and maintenance
Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and the third-party API (like Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
will be added advantage

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Experience with any source management platforms like GitHub/Bit-bucket etc
Native iOS and Android mobile app experience are a plus

Skillset:

Ionic, Cordova, ReactNative, PhoneGap, Nodejs, AngularJS
HTML5, Typescript, javascript/JQuery, SCSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, Third-Party Plugins &
APIs, Basic Web Technologies, Back-End Technologies, Theming, Comparing Mobile

Solutions, Understanding the Mobile development Stack

Push notifications using Firebase, REST API, App build tools, App analytics tools

Experience:

Write clean, manageable code and maintain proper documentation
Knowledge of bench-marking and optimisation
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Security mindedness in development practices
Ability to work independently in small teams
Responsible and capable of meeting tight deadlines
