CTO / Architect

What we are seeking:
We are looking for a Tech Head, you would be responsible for architecting and oversee the building of the entire technology platform for all aspects i.e application, webapp, mobile app, designing an architecture of scalable systems, full scale development etc and other tech functions as the need arises..
Strategy & Planning :
• In partnership with the company's founders, identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company's services as a web-based as well as mobile based business, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business success.
• Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms (including web application/mobile application frameworks and the deployment stack) for delivering the company's services.
• Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all web and app based services.
• Participate as a member of the senior management team in establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the organization's resources are used responsibly, particularly in the areas of software development, office networks and computers, and telecommunications.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Understand the company needs to define system specifications
• Plan and design the structure of a technology solution
• Communicate system requirements to software development teams
• Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
• Assist with solving technical problems when they arise
• Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
• Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals
• Experienced, entrepreneurial and hands on technology leader who has built teams from scratch. Recruiting and building a team will be a high priority in the initial stages
• Knowledge of web/mobile app development both android and iOS is a must.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Has Experience with Product Development and building the architecture of the product.
Technical Skills:
• Strong hands-on design and development experience with React Native or Flutter
• Java or Python stack for server side development
• Designing and developing backend
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures
• Experience with chat plugins
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and related services and features like EC2, S3, autoscaling, load balancing, route53, S3, IAM, Lambda, Athena, etc
• Experience with Web servers (Apache, Nginx, etc.)
• Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or equivalent
• DBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
