Requirements
We are looking for a big thinker who is both a people person and a technical leader. You'll be working with the founders to define the tech team strategy and roadmap for product development. You will be recruiting and developing an incredible team of hardworking and motivated engineers with high expectations around individual ownership and impact. You will have ultimate responsibility for technical product life cycle including design, implementation, and delivery of scalable build/test/release infrastructure. This role is expected to graduate to Chief Technology Officer within 12 months.
Specifically, the Senior Software Engineer Officer will:
Lead a small but growing team of software engineers. Plan tasks, hold code and design reviews.
Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of people, resources and tools to deliver against that roadmap.
Drive and manage all aspects of the development including requirements definition, design, implementation, unit testing, and integration. Oversee detailed designs, implementation, and test plan reviews to ensure high quality deliverables.
Maintain a deep awareness and understanding of Real-World Evidence, data and machine intelligence marketplace within biopharma and develop technologies to help DrugViu succeed
People & Project Management Skills
2 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience
You have experience recruiting, mentoring and managing engineering teams
Ability to collaborate cross functionally
Experience with GitHub or similar release management and issue tracking systems
Technical Skills
A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
You are experienced as a software developer including programming with Python, Node js, JavaScript, advance in AWS DevOps Engineering, CI / CD with Gitlab Runner and Docker AWS Lambda, (the serverless functions service), CloudWatch Events, SNS, S3, Dynamo db and others, Automation and Angular 7,8,9
Proven track-record of building fast, reliable, large, scalable web applications and services
Own technical discussion, be a subject matter expert, and have strategic influence
Data Security & Infrastructure:
Assists in the design, implementation, and enforcement of security policies that protect systems and data from access by unauthorized users.
Create procedures for data access, protection, backup and investigate security violations and modifies procedures to prevent future incursions.
You have worked with automated internal frameworks, increasing developer and release velocity, improving code health, and building developer tools
Deep understanding of HTTPS and web service technologies
