CEO DataKiwi - Job Description

Has successfully headed up a startup or (failed legaltech or one that has scaled)
Should ideally have raised capital in the market (UK or US based)
May have been a head of innovation at a law firm
Track record of software delivery is a plus, must have been a part of a team that has create a technology product or platform and taken it to market

What do we expect you to do:
Set strategy
Hire and manage a team of incredible people (you will be the leader)
Lead a team of talented product, technology, sales, marketing and operations colleagues
Fundraise (starting with the pre-seed/seed round and making your way to Series A with more institutional investors)
Spearhead the culture of the startup
Scrappy and resourceful; we would expect you to be prepared to do most things in the early days of the business
Working very closely with the co-founders, board and advisors to establish the business and take it to the next level
Relationship skills are key
Sell the product and develop relationships that allow you to take the product and prove product market fit
You will be empowered to change the product as needs be to find product market fit

Compensation:
Fixed base c. £30K
Variable component (results driven)
Meaningful equity in the venture 3% from Options pool, plus more based on performance?
