The Role

Job Overview/Summary:

The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented with a drive to achieve goals and maintain a great customer experience. You will be able to suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand and work closely with clients to understand their needs. This individual will have excellent communication abilities and negotiation skills.

The SENIOR Account Manager will be responsible for working with the Junior Account Manager in daily client administration, project coordination and revenue-growing strategies. We are looking for someone who is positive and proactive and willing to go above and beyond their job description. This is a great opportunity for seasoned account managers looking to take their career to the next level.

Job Duties:

  • Work with key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, and to ensure satisfaction
  • Serve as primary day-to-day liaison with assigned clients and maintain positive ongoing relationships
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while interfacing with different internal and external contact
  • Send call notes and recap emails to client after every meeting. Work with junior account executive to create and manage followup tasks in Asana.
  • Work with design team to create product mockups and proposals for clients.
  • Work with warehouse team to coordinate shipping out samples/prototypes to clients and prospects.
  • Take high quality product photos for clients’ Shopify stores.
  • Coordinate with shipping manager to make sure all orders from Shopify stores are fulfilled and delivered.
  • Help troubleshoot any issues that come up with deliveries and shipments.
  • Coordinate with overseas sourcing director to make sure all product shipments into US arrive in time to meet client deadlines.
  • Coordinate with local vendors to collect pricing and mockups for products we need to make for clients.
  • Coordinate with accounting team and account manager to create Purchase Orders for vendors and Invoices for clients using our internal company software.
  • Update internal company manual with company processes
  • Schedule calls and meetings for client check ins.
  • Send weekly updates to CEO on what they worked on and what’s still outstanding for each client.
  • Research industry trends and software solutions to include in client proposals.
  • Work with office manager to send meaningful gifts to thank clients.
  • Research and write reports that go over prospective company/vendor’s background and revenue potential for Bluemark.
  • Work with design team to create catalogue of all historical products Bluemark has ever produced for clients and list them on our Bluemark Shopify store.
  • Research new company prospects and vendors that qualify to invite into our Bluemark network.
  • Write and complete client RFPs.
  • Attend virtual conferences, trade shows, online publications and media outlets that can feature Bluemark and it’s clients projects.
  • Works with CEO in utilizing PPE products to grow current accounts.
  • Assist in new hire recruiting by helping schedule interviews for junior account manager roles.
  • Create and manage P&L reports for client projects.
  • Assist in developing internal processes and protocols for account managers by documenting them in the Bluemark manual.
  • Develop materials requirements and place purchase orders from outside suppliers to support production schedules and new product launches.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of proven success in client management
  • 4+ years working in an environment with sales performance metrics
  • 4+ years utilizing strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable multitasking and working in a fast paced work environment.
  • Willing to work outside of normal working hours as needed.
  • Must be VERY organized but flexible
  • Must be good at follow up.
  • Must be results-orientated.
  • Must be able to take feedback well and have an optimistic “can-do” solution centric attitude.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Hubspot, Shipstation, Odoo, Google Services, Asana, Slack, Zendesk, Salesforce, Fountain, Lastpass, Zoom, Zoominfo are a plus.
  • Personality Traits: Must be friendly, pleasant, flexible, steady, passionate, reliable, problem solver, detail orientated, good listener. Introversion is fine but must be able to social and conversational with clients and team members.
