Power Electronics Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics Lead Engineer with Solid background in power electronics components and topologies. You need to exhibit a can-do attitude and need to approach the work with vigor and determination. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment and work with talented teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Develop, validate, and enhance various power electronics products for electric vehicles.
2. Responsible for circuit topology selection, components selection, circuit board layout, control algorithm development, prototyping, testing and validation of power electronics products.
3. Contribute to drivetrain and vehicle level integrations from prototype to production.
4. Work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing and supply chain to bring the product into mass production.
5. Invent and create new technologies and solutions.
6. Have a focus on hardware development for power converters.

Skills Required:

1. Experience in Automotive design/ debugging/ validation with inverter, charger, AC/DC or DC/DC converters
2. Hands on experience for power electronics hardware development.
3. Experience in PCB design, using schematic capture and layout tools.
4. Modeling and control expertise for power converters.
5. Experience in EMI Simulations, test and mitigation.
6. Good understanding of design for manufacturing, quality control and FMEA.
7. Knowledge of safety and EMI requirements related to high power applications.
8. Knowledge of environmental, reliability requirements for automotive, industrial and residential applications.
9. DFX experience - especially cost, manufacturability, safety and reliability.
10. Experience with implementing and integrating with GraphQL or REST API.
11. Experience on power electronics systems simulations - LT SPICE, SABER .

Other Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s/Master’s in electrical / electronics engineering with 8 - 10 years of experience.
