About You:

You are a visionary Product Manager with deep experience in very practical execution. You have a proven track record of balancing investments in great UX and scalable platforms against the needs for time to market and revenue acceleration. You have direct experience working on marketing platforms for small businesses, and are familiar with the intricacies of email deliverability and CAN-SPAM compliance.

You thrive in a startup environment, build bridges across organizations, collaborate constructively with UX and engineering, and evangelize your product and its impact on customers. You are both strategic and tactical, collaborate internally with other product managers, sales, marketing, strategic PR & communications, and customer success.

You Have:

  • 5-8 years of product management/marketing experience
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or Engineering
  • Experience working on marketing platforms required, preferably email marketing platforms such as Sendrid, Marketo, etc.
  • Experience with SAAS for B2B, ideally for Small Business
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute practically
  • Demonstrated ability in developing competitive intelligence information that enable successful roadmap planning
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills to create shared visions and accomplish team goals
  • Passion for customers and track record of success analyzing product and market dynamics
  • Develop email marketing strategies to support key business priorities including new product launches, seasonal marketing campaigns, and CRM goals such as customer acquisition and retention.
  • Analyze email performance, including engagement and sales metrics, and leverage learnings to inform campaign planning and optimization.
  • Make data driven decisions. Develop a hypothesis, dive into the data, and use your findings to drive decision making. Monitor performance and deliverability metrics daily and respond proactively.
  • Build email platform roadmap and drive test execution to enable continuation optimization of campaigns.
  • Manage email project workflow: develop schedules; work with cross-functional partners to gather inputs; coordinate production and execution.
  • Experience with email regulations and deliverability a plus.

Nice to Have:

  • Building SMS Messaging products that are TCPA compliant
  • Experience building a comprehensive Message Center that provides valuable notifications such as Action Needed, Offers, Weekly & Monthly Summaries, etc.
