Feeding South Florida (FSF) is the largest and most efficient food bank serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties; nearly 99 percent of all donations are put back into the community.

Through innovative, direct-service programs and a network of nonprofit partner agencies, FSF distributed over 119 million pounds (99.3 million meals) of food last fiscal year to more than 1 million people struggling to put food on the table – over 330,000 of whom are children.

SUMMARY

As part of FSF’s commitment to better understanding the needs of those we serve, the Data Insights Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, oversight and maintenance of electronic client intake software. The position responsibilities are to 1) oversee the project plan; 2) coordinate internal and external trainings and providing technical assistance during and after roll-out; 3) ensure data integrity and compliance; and 4) create reports for organization utilization.

This position works with partner agencies, internal stakeholders and the general public.

The ideal candidate is a data-savvy professional who can uncover and share the story behind numbers with both technical and non-technical audiences to drive the creation of strategic programs and services for those we serve.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement the action plan for rollout of service insights.
Train partner agencies and serve as internal expert on software.
Document and track training progress.
Monitor data regularly and provide technical assistance.
Establish appropriate user roles and permissions.
Identify, source, and support new data to improve our ability to advocate for those we serve.
· Ensure demographic information is obtained and tracked and compiled timely and accurately for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Assist with projects to improve the efficiency and accuracy of reporting and analytics.
Provide the reports for analytical presentations to share with key stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong moral compass with ability to exercise discretion, including a demonstrated impartiality to certain organizations, agencies, groups, or individuals.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and managing responsibilities, while simultaneously maintaining composure and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Ability and desire to take initiative.
  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, statistics, social sciences, public health or another related field.
  • Minimum two years of data management or data analysis
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, with comfort and ability to speak publicly and teach others.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and math skills.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and good sense of humor.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 per year
