Details on the position
This crucial position heavily involves both Front-end and Back-end coding. Your role will be key to improve the user experience of AI builders, allowing them to spend less time on environment configuration and more time focusing on the performance of their models. Through thorough automation, you will allow UpStride to scale up dramatically, while the cool API features you will develop will help attract and retain users.
Solving problems is second nature to you, as well as fast and efficient coding in a variety of languages. You are eager to learn and to take on new challenges. You will be working closely with a Senior DevOps in charge of Architecture and Cloud, as well as interact with our team of AI Engineers and C++ developers.

The tasks you are going to be working on:
▪ Automatize the continuous update of our proprietary machine learning solution through the development of CI/CD automation pipelines
▪ Automatize the provisioning of our self-serve cloud infrastructure and set up and optimize an internal billing monitoring tool
▪ Automatize the deployment of our cloud services in a multi-cloud environment (AWS & Azure)
▪ Develop the Jenkins backend to support the variety of pipeline execution environments in the automation chain
▪ Consolidate the internal notification system (slack)
▪ Develop API features and Front End interface of UpStride’s software

We are looking for someone with the following hard skills & experience:
▪ Mastery of at least one CI/CD tool (Jenkins, bitbucket pipeline, Travis, Gitlab CI ...)
▪ Proficiency in an object oriented programming language, e.g. Python, Java. Experience with Groovy is appreciated
▪ Experience with infrastructure as code languages (ansible, terraform, Puppet, Chef ...)
▪ Knowledge of the Bash language
