About the role

We are looking for a full stack or backend developer to help us build our core platform and upcoming mobile app. You will have the opportunity to work end to end across the stack, from the front end (React and React Native) to the backend (Java/Scala) to CI/CD and AWS. We don’t expect you to be able to cover everything, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable and keen to learn new languages and technologies, take ownership and grow as a developer.

You will be joining a friendly team of highly experienced, collaborative developers with a passion for technology, sharing knowledge and building a great product. We work in a modern, sustainable way where our users’ needs and goals help shape our vision and product. We believe in iterating and learning quickly, and understand the importance of keeping tech debt low and producing quality code.

What we need you to bring
• At least 3-5 years experience working as a developer
• You have strong experience working front and back end and care to deliver exceptional features on our platform. You genuinely care about customer outcomes and want to be involved in building a product that people use regularly. You will bring a strong product mindset
• You’re well versed in the following; React, React Native, Java/ Scala, C#, Python
• A passion for learning. We believe in continuous learning and development no matter what stage of your career
• A passion for delivering high quality products
• Ability to learn and embrace new languages and technologies
• Ability to take the initiative and solve problems
• Innovative and creative thinking

Logistics
• A salary between £45,000 to £75,000 dependent on experience
• We’re currently working remotely but would like when feasible to spend at least 30% of your time in London
