Exchange Engineer

United Hedging enables institutional and retail clients to hedge or speculate on the outcome of future events via event-driven contracts.

You must have experience working to build financial exchanges or complex systems that can handle extremely high traffic at very low latency and 0 downtime. You must have knowledge in the financial world including how stock and derivative markets work and operate.

• Build order matching and trade execution systems
• Work with our partners to integrate via API or SDK
• Build front-facing and back end systems for exchange trading
• Work with execs and team to ensure regulatory acceptance
• A focus on software engineering best practices such as testing, static analysis, continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies, and the ins-and-outs of the financial system
• Data-driven
• Debug complex systems
