Android AOSP Engineer

• Modify and extend AOSP for new use cases and hardware for Mixed Reality
• Work on application framework functionality such as SystemUI, window management, notification management, input methods, etc.
• Implementation of custom services, applications, and device management features.
• Work on existing and new UI functionality and APIs, such as UI components, animations, text, layouts, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• 3+ years of experience modifying AOSP framework.
• BTech/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Excellent proficiency with C++, Java and Android Programming
• Experience modifying framework services such as WindowManager, ActivityManager, PackageManager, SurfaceFlinger, etc
• Experience with customizing SystemUI - statusbar, lockscreen, navigation bar and notifications
• Experience with app development and creating custom views and layouts
• Experience with system design on Android and/or other operating systems.
• Interest and passion for application architecture and AOSP architecture.
