About the Role

We’re in search of a Lead Generation Manager to join our marketing team. We’re a small team (3 people, 4 with you), and we work closely together (we all share one desk, and one sleeping bag). The Lead Generation Manager will focus considerable effort on building out StartEngine’s partnership and referral programs, in order to diversify our lead sources. The Lead Generation Manager will develop and optimize our existing funnel in order to attract new founders to StartEngine. This position will be instrumental in bringing the very best companies to raise on StartEngine.

What You’ll Do

Create and Develop lead generation partnerships with various outside organizations
Expand StartEngine’s referral program to generate a continual stream of steady candidates
Grow existing lead generation funnels by expanding channels, guiding content, and optimizing touch points
Develop strategies to assist sales’ outbound lead generation
Report on lead generation funnel and marketing ROI
Optimize lead generation spend to maximize ROI while generating demanded volume
Work with Analytics to try to create a strong lead scoring metric
Build a team of email marketers, digital marketers, and other lead generation specialists as StartEngine continues its rapid growth

Who We're Looking For

Experience with and interest cultivating partnerships and referral programs
Experience with and interest in creating funnels for sales and marketing teams, including conversion tracking and optimization
Experience with email marketing automation tools
Intermediate experience with Salesforce (or a confidence to learn)
Experience with (or ability to learn) creating complex Zapier connections
Strong ability to research & troubleshoot various marketing tool issues
Extremely curious and interested in all things marketing and optimization
Demonstrated desire for continuous learning, growth and improvement
