Linux Systems Administrator

Spiri makes autonomous robots and artificial intelligence to help science, industry, and government rise to the challenges of our time in infrastructure, a changing environment, and global security. The primary role for this position is to build out and maintain Spiri's web services infrastructure and to provide structure and support to our software engineering effort. The new hire(s) will work with our current systems administrator in Halifax, Canada.

Duties

• Manage our webservices
• Write infrastructure as code
• Support our development and operations staff

Requirements

• Familiarity with standard Linux environments
• Familiarity with Ansible and Docker
• Experience managing Docker stack applications
• Experience running Linux-based mail servers
• Knowledge of single sign-on techniques, e.g. LDAP, OAuth

Skills and experience with SQL, Django, Python, ROS, Linux kernel hacking, and Linux drivers, as well as general programming experience, Git experience, and experience with drones or other robots, is all desirable, as is a passion for learning new things.
