SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS ENGINEER
Full-time, Permanent
Ridley Park, Pennsylvania
Here is what you will do:
• Review and analyze new aircraft software system requirements from various internal business units
• Review current documentation and assist with determining a high-level technical approach for system modifications
• Document new software system requirements and update technical changes using the DOORS application
• Understand the functionality of new software additions and communicate design and development requirements to team members
• Work with a team of software engineers to test new system changes to ensure alignment with overall mission systems
In performing this role, you will:
• Have a degree or diploma in an engineering, computer science or a related field of study
● Apply your familiarity with technical writing to create clear system software requirements
● Use your basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills to analyze, manipulate, and extract data
● Use your PowerPoint skills to present findings to colleagues and senior managers
● Apply a strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all activities
● Be comfortable working independently as well as collaborating with team members
Nice to have (not required):
● Experience with programming and/or algorithm development
● Knowledge or experience with Agile scrum methodologies
