UX Developer

SoCreate is growing our UX Development team to advance two key projects: a production SaaS e-commerce platform, and the SoCreate Screenwriting Platform. We hope to launch SoCreate beta trials this year, but there are still lots of things to get done. To increase our momentum, we are looking for crazy-creative, superstar-motivated, expert-rated, UX developers to help make it happen.

The SoCreate team is a tight-nit group of highly skilled and extremely motivated people that have a “All for One and One for All” attitude. Every person on our team is highly valued and can impact the choices we make as well as the direction of our company. It doesn’t matter if you are a veteran on the team or a newly hired intern, we value ALL great ideas no matter who they come from. We are breaking ground on new web UX and application architecture never done before. You will be part of the team that will shake up the very foundation of the screenwriting industry and help empower everyone inspired to tell a great story regardless of who they are or where they come from.

Objective
We are looking for someone to become an integral part of our UX team to work on both aforementioned projects. Both projects UIs are single-page apps built on the Angular framework using modern HTML/CSS in a modular component architecture. We have a lot of cutting edge UI to implement and this would be a key part of the work you would do. We only support the latest browsers, so you’ll be able to put all modern HTML and CSS to work for you. As new UIs are needed, you’d play a role in designing the user experiences necessary to accomplish the task while delighting our users. Lastly, you’d work with the team to define, improve, refactor, and streamline our workflows and processes to help us continuously improve the way we work.

In 2019, SoCreate will launch beta trials to interested screenwriters who are tired of wrestling with frustrating, traditional screenwriting software, who want a single place to take their ideas from inspiration to completion, and who desire a software that will allow their creativity to flow in new, unbounded ways.
