Tech Lead

Job Description:
We are looking for a PHP Tech Lead capable of managing a team of developers and guide their development efforts towards successful project delivery. Your primary focus will be to provide technical leadership to teammates, reviewing their PRs and ensuring that proper coding standards are being followed by the developers. You will also be required to collaborate with the product team and the technical team to plan, design, develop, test and maintain the ecommerce store front.

Skills:
Proficient in the latest PHP versions and understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP.
Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter or any other MV* framework).
Working knowledge of any of the open source ecommerce frameworks (Magento, CSCart etc.). Working knowledge in CSCart will be a plus.
Understanding of MVC design patterns.
Working knowledge of front-end technologies – Javascript/JQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
Proficient understanding of Git.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing daily team meeting and allocation of tasks in the team based on expertise.
Optimizing effectiveness of team by constant mentoring and motivation.
Coordination with product and management team with regards to new business opportunity and areas of modification on technical front.
Ideating and implementing new solutions for existing problem or process.
Review and evaluate your team member's codes.
Amend execution plan, accommodating new requirements as per the brief of Team lead or Project Manager.
Groom your team with your level of expertise.
