Senior UX Designer

 The Omega One design team believes that beauty comes in the form of functional design that puts usability and accessibility first. Interacting with everything we produce—whether marketing or product or HR—must feel like interacting with the product. As such, we are developing an iterative but principled design practice that makes the brand easy to use, educates our whole team on design best practices, and integrates design thinking into all of our projects and functions, internal and external.

 We are looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate and improve upon it in accordance with user testing and feedback.

 Role & Responsibilities:

* Advise the design team in adhering to UX best practices
* Conduct UX research
* Catalogue and project manage the testing, prototyping, and implementation of user stories
* Manage a tight and iterative wireframing and design process
* Oversee the tracking and proper implementation of user facing features through the completion of the development process
* Manage user testing and feedback cycles by making recommendations for constant product improvement 
* Work with a multidisciplinary design and development team across product and marketing to ensure a consistent level of usability and accessibility standards across channels, platforms, and products

 Required traits:

* 5+ years of experience working in fast paced, product facing UX roles 
* Analytical and proactive systems-level thinker that is skilled at creatively solving problems
* Able to skillfully conduct and track user interviews, bringing in necessary subject matter expertise
* Ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations to multiple stakeholder groups 
• Deep understanding of UX & UI implementation and accessibility across platforms and media
* Ability to quickly prototype and obtain feedback as necessary to keep projects moving forward; able to quickly and productively shift direction based on frequent feedback
* Excited to creatively push the boundaries of what is possible for user interaction…while always thinking ahead to technical implementation
* Highly self motivated and self directed
* Hands on and collaborative with cross-functional teams
* Clear and direct communicator

 Nice to have: 

* UI / visual design background
* Product management experience 
* Experience with financial products, cryptoassets, blockchain technology, data visualization 
* Experience in 3D, VR, AR
