Job Description/Duties:

Its Data Science division is seeking a contract to full-time Data Scientist who loves working with data and want to use their data science skills to help companies conduct high-impact research that locates and improves client engagement outcomes for companies in multiple verticals. You will join a strong, friendly, talented and multi-cultural team of developers, computer scientists, support and sales.
This position is responsible for business consulting activities for the Data Science and Engagement teams within our organization. You will work with client data to monitor, assess and design strategies for improving their engagement ecosystem. We need someone with creative problem-solving. Our Data Scientist will work to understand high value opportunities and identify/build potential solutions, which often involve discovering new insights by transforming data into intuitive & interactive visualizations or applications that can then be explained to non-data science stakeholders.
Ability to proactively understand what kind of extraction techniques best apply, test and deploy them to extract, clean, and validate data in preparation for analysis, starting from raw data in various databases.
Perform data exploration and data mining.
Create business intelligence, dashboards, visualizations, and/or other advanced analytics reports to adequately tell the business narrative and offer recommendations that are practiced, actionable, and have a material impact, in addition to being well-supported by analytical models and data.

Skill/Experience:
Formal training in ML techniques and practical experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment - experience with AWS Sagemaker will be an added plus
Proficient in SQL, regex ( 5 + years)
Great foundation in statistics and mathematical concepts
Natural Language processing - expertise with entity extraction techniques and tools. (3+ years)
Above average articulation and communication skills as this role would involve educating and influencing senior stakeholders
Comfortable working in a team with software developers using Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of a visualization tool is nice to have.
Undergraduate, graduate degree or higher preferred, in a relevant field (computer science, statistics, informatics, physics, computational biology, etc.)
Proficiency in programming with R and/or Python to carry out data analysis in large and complex datasets
Ability to move projects forward independently with moderate support
Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
Passion for advancing client engagement through creative use of data
Strong communication and collaborative research skills required
