Senior Payroll Specialist

What We Do

This role will be responsible for paying all of our team members globally. This role will ensure all of the facets of payroll are managed and well executed, including compliance, withholdings, and deductions.

What You'll Do

* Coordinate and process US and international payrolls, including multi-state payroll.
* Record, maintain, and update payroll procedures.
* Maintain employee records for new hires, pay changes, and terminations.
* Process payroll, including updating employee information, withholdings, deductions, and garnishments.
* Ensure organizational compliance with federal and local regulations, auditing, and non-discrimination laws for all applicable jurisdictions.
* Prepare and analyze payroll related reports, including custom reporting as needed.
* Ensure operational controls are created and maintained such as checklists, balancing, and reconciliations.
* Coordinate with other members of the HR team to ensure correct and timely paperwork is received from employees.
* Partner with the finance team for off-cycle payments, department updates, allocations, and payroll accounting entries.
* Assist with audit engagements.

* Strong payroll skills in a multi-state environment, including managing registrations in multiple states
* In-depth knowledge of and experience managing payroll processes and controls
* Ability to create business process documentation
* Full knowledge of payroll mechanics including quarterly and year-end reconciliations, W2 management, and functional reporting
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel
* Experienced user of ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
* Certified Payroll Professional or equivalent certification (preferred)
* Experience with Netsuite (preferred)
