You’re a natural story-teller. You’ve got the writing chops of a skilled copywriter, you know enough code to build a blog from scratch, you’ve got an eye for design, and you can sell just about anything with a persuasive essay.
Your friends and your customers light up when they see your subject lines in their inbox. Your work has helped successful brands grow, engage, and relate to their audience and you’re eager to build something new from the ground up.
As our first email marketing hire, you’ll own the development and implementation of our entire client and agent lifecycle. You’ll sit on the Content team and work hand-in-hand with our growing editorial staff to tell our story and bring HomeLight’s core value to the masses through email and social media. Together, we’ll build email into a massive growth channel for the company and lift up every other marketing channel with our recapture and retention campaigns.
What you will do here:
Act as our front-line communicator via email and social media
Manage, execute, and optimize HomeLight’s email marketing campaign strategy
Design, code, and write copy for all email marketing communication to both our clients and our agents.
Measure and report on growth KPIs to find and act on opportunities to improve.
Build multi-channel lifecycle campaigns across email and social media, including: agent and client on-boarding, lead nurturing, retention and recapture, and brand building.
Continuously test new ideas, run A/B tests on everything from subject lines to call to actions, and make intelligent decisions against the results.
Join a growing Content Marketing team, align your campaigns with our goals, and work with editorial to come up with stories, resources, and other materials to help our cause.
Craft cross-pollinating email campaigns that help our team grow an audience on social media channels like Facebook and LinkedIn.
You have:
BA with a degree in marketing or related field
2+ years of experience in email or social media marketing.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven strategic thinking, analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills
Strong project management and process development capabilities
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in HTML, photoshop, and email marketing platforms like Drip, MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.
Professional experience with Real Estate is a plus.
