Who You Are
As a GP Accounts Receivable Specialist, you are a detail and process oriented accounting wiz that showcases sound judgement and the professional integrity necessary for this role. You honor teamwork in problem-solving and are always seeking solutions that serve the greater team. While you value standardization, you aren’t afraid to push the envelope and offer fresh ideas! Your ability to multi-task, attention to detail, and strong project management skills are an asset, as you will be working on many different projects similtaneously. Last, but certainly not least, you’re comfortable and adaptable with new technology and programs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in YARDI Voyager Accounting System (or similar).
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Great prioritization skills
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with co-workers & residents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and YARDI.
- Well-ordered approach to problem solving – accuracy is a must.
- Dedicated, punctual, and reliable.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Pay Scan, Vendor Cafe experience is a plus
- Positive, Can-Do attitude is a MUST!
- Growth-minded attitude with keen interest in learning new skills
- Availability to work on-site at our New Rochelle office (promise it is worth the drive/commute)
A Day In The Life*
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Maintaining tenant records including processing leases, renewals, and move outs.
• Processing electronic cash receipts as well as checks.
• Maintaining tenant security accounts.
• Reconciling subsidy accounts monthly - Section 8, SCRIE, and DRIE.
• Responding to tenant inquiries. (Written and Verbal)
• Preparing management reports on tenant activity.
