Fullstack is seeking a talented financial modelling expert to join their Sydney team.
Recognised as one of Australia’s leading advisory firms for startups, this role will provide financial modelling expertise alongside the VCFO & accounting teams. In particular, this role will be responsible for producing outstanding the financial models for founders of high growth startups in a workshop format; conducted in both office and online.
The role will assist with ad-hoc modelling related tasks for the VCFO teams, including pricing strategies, corporate expansions, equity and debt fundraising processes, M&A and budgeting.
With direct access to both senior management and leading founders in tech, this is a rare opportunity to join an established advisory firm with a demonstrable track record of success in the market.
Role responsibilities:
• Ownership of the financial models produced for clients, via both in-office workshops and online meetings.
• Provide financial and cash flow analysis in preparation for meetings with senior stakeholders.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets/forecasts.
• Assist in modelling related tasks for budgeting, equity capital fundraising, debt capital fundraising and M&A processes.
• Constructive, consistent, timely and open communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates will be considered from:
• Big four accounting firms - Valuations and/or Business Modelling experience will be highly regarded.
• Financial modelling consulting firms - Mazars, FTI Consulting etc.
• Investment banks or Private Equity firms - M&A coverage experience required.
Candidates must also possess the following:
• 1+ year of corporate finance experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Business.
• Exceptional analytical and modelling skills.
• Professional customer service skills.
• Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an unstructured and agile environment.
• Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects.
