Web developer

Fitpass is looking for:

• Ruby on Rails (versions 5 and/or 6)
• Good knowledge of REST APIs
• Experience with Relational Databases (e.g. Postgres, other)
• Examples of code (e.g. at Gifhub and/or Bitbucket)
• Good JavaScript
• Good knowledge of Git
• Understands web security principles (HTTPS, auth, encryption, etc)
• Some HTML/CSS
• Comfortable with testing frameworks, e.g. RSpec, Minitest
• Good English

Also, would be nice if:

• Worked in start-ups before
• Understands integrations with third-party APIs
• TypeScript
• Experience with asynchronous code and systems (e.g. job queues)
• Knows Docker well, and can use it for Rails projects
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Linux experience, e.g. Ubuntu
• Best would be someone who is between Junior and Senior - e.g. 4 to 6 years of experience
• Based in Mexico City if possible
• Passionate about Fitness (e.g. running, gyms, etc)
