The Role
Opportunity
eCarUp is a highly innovative and flexible charging solution for electric cars. eCarUp enables the renting of (semi)private charging stations to foreign users and provides an automated billing tool for the loading processes (Airbnb for charging stations). Charging stations are upgraded with intelligent and own-developed measurement technology (inhouse development) with the help of one of our inexpensive upgrade sets. Extensive customization functions ensure a user-specific configuration of individual charging stations that are tailored to the customers’ individual needs and preferences. We make any charging station intelligent.
Responsibilities
• You play a significant role in building our core application in order to
change the future of e-mobility.
• You are impacting the development of our cloud-environment, our web-
tools and our apps (Android and iOS) and you are shaping the
technological
advancement of our integrated solution.
• You align your coding both for high performance as well as easy
maintainability.
• You are proactive in your approach to problem identification and
resolution and overcome obstacles with an open mindset;
• You are responsible for specific project management of the technological
development and ensure an efficient communication with other
departments as well as your work colleagues.
Minimum qualifications
• BA/BS degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent
practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET & Web API.
• Team-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit and self-initiating.
Preferred qualifications
• MS or PhD in computer science.
• Knowledge of app development with Xamarin.
• Experience in architecting and developing large scale distributed
systems.
• Knowledge of NOSQL databases.
• Previous start-up experience is a plus.
• Speaking German, Italian or French is a plus.
