Risk Associate

*Roles and responsibilities: *

As Risk associate, you will be responsible on driving risk implementation across trading and operational risk. You will be required to design and implement risk frameworks and controls around Metatrader platform for brokers.

*What you’ll need to succeed: *

• Analysing and managing risk in trading products with brokers requirement
• P/L reconciliation, detailed reporting and investigating in potential risk/ breaches in limits
• Stress test processes, improve liquidity risk measurement
• Monitor market risk to ensure they are within risk threshold.
  
• Prepare reports and risk to stakeholders
• Execute trading operation with understanding.
  
• Continuous design and propose SOP for improvement
• Work with remote team member across Singapore, India, Russia, Cyprus (Travel between countries if required)
• Ensure automation and monitoring tools uptime
• Proactive Liaising with internal associate for business problem solving
  
• Work with team closely to cover 24/7 shift. (Cold-standby model, don’t have to cover from office, but from anywhere that enable you to act immediately. Take note that cold standby is trigger when unexpected situation happen)
• Quick and Good Analytical thinking to measure and justify risk vs reward decision
  
• Growth mindset to pick up new skills independently
• Able to lead small development projects
• Do data source mapping and extraction, developing and testing algorithms, executing and refining
• Open to taking on an array of different types of projects
• Able to write macro to automate routine tasks
• Able to use Python to automate tasks
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and as a team
• Pro-active and motivated individual
• An Expert in Microsoft technologies who can work on Excel VBA development and macros to deal with live data feed from different exchanges

*Requirement *

• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with Macro and data analytic
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Proficiency in quantitative skills (Excel, VBA and MySQL)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, integrity and discipline
• Initiative and forthcoming with ideas for continuous work improvements
• Effective problem-solver between internal & external customers
• Proficiency with MT4 Forex trading
• Familiar with MT4 EA
• Familiar with AWS cloud
• Able to take work shift and cold standby
