We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is self-driven, energetic, and social. You will be our first point of contact for potential customers and it will be your job to build a relationship from the first call. Day to day responsibilities will include calling and emailing new leads, routing them to MobilePD Account Executives and tracking various data points that will help optimize our sales efforts. This role is for entry-level candidates looking to launch their career in software sales.
Responsibilities:
Understanding customers needs and effectively communicate how MobilePD will help meet them.
Calling and emailing new customers on a daily basis to qualify business opportunities.
Routing qualified prospects to Account Executives.
Tracking sales data, such as # of calls, emails, and meetings conducted on a daily basis.
Prioritizing opportunities and using salesforce.com for lead management, sales forecasting, and documentation various customer interaction details, such as pain points, lead scores, purchase timeframes, and next steps.
Qualifications:
4 year degree from a top university is required
Clear passion and strong communication skills
Prior successful sales or lead qualification experience is a plus but not necessary
Consistent success in past experiences.
Proven team player.
Former Military / Law Enforcement service is a pro.
