About this Role:
We seek an entry-level Marketing Intern who will help fuel Zello’s growth with their willingness to pitch in and support Marketing projects as assigned. The intern position begins in January and ends in May 2019. This is a paid internship ($15/hr or $31k annually). College credit is available. This position has the opportunity to convert to a full-time role at the end of the internship.
Receive, organize, and respond to inbound emails
Call interested prospective customers to gather information
Provide general marketing administrative support such as: enter data, perform deduplication, organizing, sorting, CRM cleanup
Execute Market Research as assigned: competitive, events, industry leaders, media coverage, social media accounts, etc. and compile findings in an easy-to-consume way
Support event execution: gathering and shipping supplies, organizing t-shirts for giving away, picking up materials at the printer, etc.
Organize and update the Marketing intranet and the marketing automation platform (Hubspot)
Approach the role with a willingness to help your fellow teammates
Build and maintain strong working relationships with others based on trust, integrity, authenticity, and mutual respect
Represent the Zello company and meet brand standards in-person, on the phone, and in email
Other duties as assigned
1-3 years of customer service and/or sales experience (or) pursuing a degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing, or Communications
Excellent written communication skills, including the use of complete sentences, spell-check, and proper grammar
Excellent verbal skills, clear enunciation, and confident voice projection on phone calls
Reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Working knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Familiarity with mainstream social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube)
Ability to work 30-40 hours/week, 9a-5p M-F
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines
Excellent relationship skills, with a focus on teamwork
Exemplary attention to detail, strong organizational skills
