This is a key role at a high-growth point for the company, reporting directly to the CEO. This will be a senior level candidate will have an entrepreneurial attitude, creativity, experience in implementing scalable marketing and communication processes, and be motivated by working for a mission driven organization.
Zagster operates more than 150 bike shares for cities, universities, businesses, and properties, including Fort Collins, Albuquerque, Yale, Ohio State, General Motors, and the Irvine Company. At Zagster, you will help transform the way people get around to make tangible improvements to the sustainability, health, and quality of life of communities everywhere. Develop, implement, and nurture the company’s B2B and B2C marketing strategy by partnering closely with sales, business development, engineering and product.
Foster Zagster’s collaborative, cross-functional approach to ensure successful platform roadmap planning, competitive positioning, and sales execution.
Organize, recruit, and mentor the marketing, creative, and communications team.
Allocate marketing resources, including marketing budget planning and management.
The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded marketing skillset including new product development and launch, pricing strategy, brand management and communications, and experience with business models in a variety of industries. Potential candidate should meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required and MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated success leading product development and management, brand creation and communications, and digital initiatives.
More than 5 years experience building and mentoring a marketing team.
Experience in the B2B and B2C space.
Demonstrated success in solving complex problems, driving change, and accelerating business growth.
Strong analytical and communication skills, a creative mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
