Zagster is the fastest-growing and most innovative company in the bike sharing industry, with a mission to make the bike the most loved form of transportation. We brought our talents to San Francisco this year, and we want you to bring your talent to us to make it successful.
Bike sharing is a $1B+ market segment of the shared economy, that is moving beyond the early adopters and becoming mainstream, and Zagster is capitalizing on the opportunity. We currently operate bike sharing programs in 30+ states, with happy clients such as California State University, Workday, the City of Albuquerque, Samsung, and the Irvine Company. You will be a big part of a growing team that delivers every quarter, you will make a difference in the world’s transportation, sustainability, health, and quality of life -- and you’ll have fun. After all, this is the bike industry, and biking is fun.
We are looking for an exceptional Sales Consultant who can source, qualify, and close new business opportunities that deliver value to our business and our customers. This quota-carrying role is essential to Zagster’s success.
This role requires a proven track record of success in consultative sales, and an eagerness to work in a fast-paced start-up with significant accountability. The Sales Consultant will be the main point of contact for a major geographic territory, the northwest (right in your backyard). You will be an expert at the full sales cycle, especially qualifying, consulting, proposing, and closing. Excellent time and pipeline management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple deals at the same time are essential for this role.

Cross-functional teamwork to ensure that all customer commitments can be met.
3+ years of proven solution sales experience with a demonstrated ability to manage a pipeline, close deals, and exceed revenue goals.
Effective presenting, communicating, and selling effectively to senior level executives, on the phone and in person.
Active listening skills and a genuine curiosity to uncover customer needs, evaluation processes, and solution potential.
Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Experience working with Salesforce.
Willingness to travel within the southwest area.
A passion for learning and an appreciation for how much there is to learn about sales.
You want the ball in your hands with the game on the line.
You’ve won an award for your sales performance.
You’re passionate about bicycling, the sharing economy, transportation, and/or sustainability.
Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Cambridge, Mass., Zagster is the nation's largest and fastest-growing bike-share provider. Zagster partners with more than 130 communities — including cities, universities, businesses, and properties — to bring bike sharing to areas where traditional bike-share providers can't reach. The company’s goal: To make the bike the most loved form of transportation.
Unlike other bike shares in which riders must drop off bikes at designated stations for every stop, Zagster’s programs let users ride as long as they want, wherever they want. And because Zagster manages all aspects of its systems — from hardware and software, to maintenance and marketing — Zagster partners can implement safe, scalable, and cost-effective bike shares that best suit their needs.
Zagster also offers a unique private-public model of collaborative sponsorship to offset costs to taxpayers and allow anyone in a community to have a direct stake in bike sharing's success.
