Design of an Electrical Power System for a CubeSat

I've designed the first version of this subsystem and manufactured prototypes of the different parts. Then I put them together and verified that all the requirements were fulfilled. After this project was done I guided other student's MSc to design a ready-to-flight version.

What I Do
I am an engineer with experience in electronics and software development. I try to have an overview of how to build a good product from the very first electronic component to the website or app the user will use. Understanding all the limitations and possibilities help me build great products.
I was part of the team that launched the 3 first satellites in my province (Galicia - Spain) and the first that any Spanish University had launched in years.
In a field (cubesats) where the success rate is below 50%, we had a 100% success rate. The key of this success were the methodologies we applied, the great team, and the fact of being one of the first teams to understand that small sats were not a garage job, but a new professional opportunity.
This led us to collaborate with NASA and ESA in different missions (even deep space missions). I personally took all this knowledge to start my own company in a new field that also combined hardware, software and communications: the Internet of Things.
I believe in a future where everything, and not just everyone, is connected, letting people focus on the aspects of life that really matter. I'm looking for innovative projects that share this vision and use a combination of HW and SW turned into an user friendly piece of technology.
