Job Description

WorldKoins has developed a UNIQUE innovative platform to help travelers and

users around the world to make use of their leftover (foreign) travel money.

The platform includes 2 mobile applications (Available free on iOS/Android
for smartphones and tablets) and a marketplace with large selection of eGift cards,
discount codes and vouchers from different brands.
• WorldKoins: Traveler’s app.
• DropKoins: Partner’s app.
WorldKoins is looking for a Community Manager to increase awareness and
promote usage of WorldKoins & DropKoins mobile Apps among travelers and
partners (airlines, duty free shops, travel agencies, hotel, taxi drivers, etc…).

The suitable candidate shall be proficient in:
1. Content creation – writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications
materials, and material for social media channels. Managing and optimising the
company website.
2. Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing the company’s
presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online
properties.
3. Customers Support: Writing guides, tutorials and enhancing FAQ and
knowledge base to improve customer service and enhance user satisfaction.
Provide and manage customer support – answering questions however they come in
(phone, e-mail, and social media) and managing any online feedback forums.
4 Events and event planning – attending events in Malaysia and in the region.
4. Public relations –Media requests and building relationships with industry
journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns.
5. Communications/marketing strategy – the Community Manager is responsible
for creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the
company’s public-facing communications.
6. Analytics – Using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide
reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through
testing and new initiatives.
8. Business development- be involved in business development activities.
Other Skills:

Proficiency in PowerPoint and presentation tools and skills.
Good communication skills.
Very high attention to details.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Qualifications:

2 to 3 years of experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands.
Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
