ABOUT THE POSITION
You will work directly with the COO to identify and close new partnerships, corporate responsibility sponsors and individual donations.
Unlike other nonprofits, we move fast and iterate continuously. You will be a critical member of the team that feels confident owning the management of large B2B sales deals. You have experience building a business development strategy and know how to successfully hit sales objectives. You approach updating your CRM with the same gusto as delivering an exciting sales presentation to a VIP stakeholder. You know how to play in a startup environment, support your fellow team members and rally key stakeholders to your cause.
You will own:
> Nationwide partnerships for our global labs and chapters program - sourcing and closing
> B2B sales of annual conference sponsorship
> Peer partnerships - working with complementary organizations on synergistic impact programming
> Work with COO and Chair of Fundraising Committee on annual business development strategy and budget
> Sales collateral and deck creation
> Sourcing additional (non-funding) resources for impact programs
> Relationships with high-level companies and individuals
> Close partnerships for the member partner perks program
> CRM database of potential partners, sponsors and donors
> Communication strategies with key stakeholders
> Management of grant writers for special opportunities
> Lead and inspire our members, our Board of Directors and everyone you meet who asks you about WFS!

> Authentic. You know yourself. What you like, don’t like. Your values. Your boundaries and your unique abilities.
> 5-8+ years of business development experience, partnership or B2B sales
> Experience closing 6-figure B2B or partnership deals
> Excellent excel skills and understanding of P&L statements
> Experience building, managing or working with a C-level executive
