Job Description

Workyard is a high-growth, VC-backed startup operating in the construction industry — where $300 billion is spent on labor each year. At Workyard, we’re building a marketplace that connects construction companies with the trusted labor they need for any type of project. We're re-inventing the experience for both parties, adding trust, transparency and automation to the staffing of construction workers.

We are currently experiencing rapid growth and are looking for recruiters to join our team. You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring and supporting field workers to assist in maintaining a quality workforce.

Responsibilities:

- High volume recruiting of workers.
- Vet and screen workers over the phone to ensure they match the required skills and attributes required by our clients.
- Contribute to building our playbook of screening processes for each type of role we offer.
- Schedule and conduct reference checks, and review candidate background checks
- Manage and execute our worker on-boarding process. Conduct on-boarding/orientation sessions with hired workers.
- Manage follow-up communications pre- and post-placement with our clients
- Provide an exceptional experience for every candidate, regardless of outcome
- Maintaining solid working relationships with all our skilled trade workers, this includes taking their calls to ensure they are happy and any issues that require escalation are attended to by our organization.
- Maintaining field workers notes and status

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of high volume recruiting, client services or inside sales
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing skilled workers
- Proven ability to hit goals – balancing efficiency with quality
- A genuine interest in technology as shown by continuous learning throughout your career
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced office
- Have a desire to constantly interact/communicate with various personalities maintaining solid working relationships with both skilled trade workers and sales personnel
- Highly motivated to succeed, with a track record for doing so in whatever you decide to focus your energy on (work, education, sports, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
