Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer (PHP, JavaScript) to become part of our engineering team at Wingly.

All engineers at Wingly are driven by the enthusiam of creating outstanding user experience, making the world of private aviation a better one. Your work will impact the future of how private aviation is experienced by tens of thousands of customers. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible to for contributing to the application architecture and doing intensive, design oriented development on both the back- and frontend.

What you will do

• Build reliable, cloud-based, web applications with PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (Vue.js, Nuxt.js)
• Engage in decisions ranging from UI- and UX Design to Backend architecture together with the Lead Developer and explore new technologies
• Build internal API as well as beautiful user interfaces
• Mentor and exchange of knowledge with other developers part of the Wingly engineering team

Who you are

• Excellent & MVP-focused coding skills in PHP (Laravel), minimum of 2 years experience
• Practical and recent experience with JavaScript and frameworks like Vue.js and Nuxt.js
• Extensive experience in similar roles building technically complex products which are being used by hundreds of thousands of users
• Very good written and oral communication skills in English
• Passionate about writing well-structured, effcient and maintainable code

Extras you may bring

• Experience in the aviation-, tourist- or travel-industry
• Practical system administration or even DevOps experience
• Knowlegde in building cross-platform mobile applications (for example with Ionic)
• Passion for building things, which may express in open source contributions or equivalent
