About Us:

Why we need you:
We're rapidly expanding to 10-25 cities this year which means we need to hire & train between 20-50 photographers from scratch before the end of 2017. Now that we’re growing, we need a dedicated person that is in charge of improving our existing training bootcamp as well as welcoming and training every new person who joins our team training our team. That's where you come in.

As our Training Director you would be:
- working out of our headquarters in downtown Denver (1624 Market St. Denver, CO 80202)
- working with Heather, our operations manager, to improve training to lower the issues we see happen consistently in the field
- training people from scratch, who likely have never touched a camera before, how to follow our process & procedures to deliver professional grade photography

Throughout your day you might:
- update all of our training documents & company directory
- film videos for trainees to watch (like this!)
- coordinate flights & AirBnB’s for each photographer for when they fly to Denver for training
- help new employees understand payroll & health benefits (Gusto), our communication tools (Slack), and their legal contracts
- follow up the two weeks after training with each employee to address what is going well & what could be improved

This role is one you’d probably want because:

- you want to join a rapidly growing team. 2 months ago we were a team of 4. You’ll be joining employee #14 and we expect to grow to 40+ people by the end of the year.

- you don’t need to have any photography experience, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!

- You are independent and want to be a part of a hyper growth company.
- You probably were an athlete or do some regular physical activity. ie. You are disciplined.
- You’ve trained people in the past

When you work with us you can expect:
- Salary of $50,000/year
- Equity options of 0.05% (This is roughly equivalent to $6k at our $12 million company valuation. Should the company reach a $1billion valuation over the next 5 years, this would cash out to ~$500k. In the interview, ask us how we expect to achieve that)
- $1,000 towards your company computer or office furniture
- Time off when you want it (20 days paid vacation including sick days)
- We cover half of your Health Insurance after 2 months of employment
