With more than 30 million users, Vivino is the world’s most downloaded wine app and largest community of wine drinkers. We are passionate about building technology that allows our massive community of wine drinkers - at all levels of expertise - to always find the best wine. We are growing the team and adding an Account Executive to our Hong Kong team as we evolve from a ratings and review service to a full marketplace for wine.
About this position:
We are looking for an Account Executive to join our small and mighty team to grow Vivino Checkout, an in-app and on-site checkout experience that is our fastest growing revenue stream.
Vivino Checkout leverages partnerships with qualified wine merchants of all styles and sizes who make wines of the world available to thirsty Vivino users.
We make a moderate volume (30-40) of outbound phone calls each day. We manage our own entire sales cycle from prospecting, vetting, appointment-setting, qualifying, all the way through to closing and celebrating.
Account Executives are the face and voice of Vivino to potential partners and as such must be knowledgeable, fun, capable, professional and confident.

You fluently speak (and can conduct real business in!) Cantonese as well as English.

A few other nice-to-haves:
You have 1-3 years of sales experience, ideally where a lot of the process takes place over the phone.

You are passionate about all things wine. You don’t need to be an expert, but you should be prepared to learn quickly and manage your own education.
