What I Do
Torrence Boone is the Vice President—Global Client Partner at Google. He is responsible for driving Google’s strategy and multi-billion dollar business across a portfolio of the world’s largest global advertisers. He has developed new product initiatives and launched BrandLabs around the world.
Within six months of his arrival at Google, Torrence Boone closed three multi-billion dollar global media and tech deals: the largest in the company’s history. He and his team embrace the philosophy of 10x or moonshot thinking to focus on exponential growth or change.
"If you set ambitious goals, it forces people to step outside of their comfort zone and what they think might be possible," he says.
Torrence Boone has also been recognized for his business achievements as well as his advocacy and philanthropic efforts. He has been named to the Financial Times' UPstanding Power List (2016), Savoy Magazine's Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America (2015 & 2016), and Power 300 Most Influential Black Corporate Directors (2016). Torrence has also received One Hundred Black Men's Corporate Award (2015), A Better Chance's Dreambuilder Award (2016), and ADCOLOR's Advocate Award (2013).
