3+ years experience with proven commercial leadership with business development experience in the hospitality, SaaS and or start up companies preferred.
A “hunter’s” perspective toward the pipeline management of opportunities.
Well-developed understanding of the Travel industry landscape.
Excellent communication, prioritization, listening and quantitative skills.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze an opportunity from many angles - both quantitative and qualitative & drive appropriate performance tracking & analysis activities post-deal.
Adept with technology and a strategic thinker - knows what's best for the business.
Excellent judgment, presence and mature personality; experience working with executives.
Strong verbal and written English communications skills are a must, as well as second language.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key.
Self-starter, passionate, accountable and most importantly, possessing a great attitude.
handy is a fully customizable smartphone system that serves as an extension or replacement of a hotel’s in-room phone helping travelers keep in touch with those that matter. With unlimited internet, local and international calls, 3G internet, as well as hotel information and an informative city guide, handy is the traveler's perfect companion.
In six months, handy has been deployed in over 30 hotels and 6,000 hotel rooms in Hong Kong and Singapore. Travelers can find handy prominently situated in all guest rooms in hotels such as W Hong Kong, Grand Park Orchard Singapore, and Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui.
So far, we have revolutionized the hospitality industry in Hong Kong and Singapore by allowing hotels to extend their brand and service across the city, rather than just limited to their property. At present we operate in three cities in Asia, and have just confirmed our expansion plan of 15 additional cities in both Asia and Europe.
