As a SquareFoot Research/Business Development Representative, you’ll join our fast growing Brokerage team in New York. You will work cross functionally to assist our clients with determining and qualifying their real estate needs. With our robust training program, you’ll learn the industry quickly, positioning yourself to move into a full-time Broker role within 18- 24 months.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong interest in a career as a commercial real estate broker in New York.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Dive right into training and quickly learning the New York market and the SquareFoot research/sales process
  • Engaging over the phone and email with leasing agents to gather information about the properties they represent
  • Ensuring that our database of New York properties is kept up to date as well as accurately capturing property information in our database
  • Be the first impression for all of SquareFoot’s inbound clients
  • Collaborate with our Brokers to fill pipelines and keep leads warm
  • Become an expert at using our platform and other sales tools
  • Gain valuable experience at a high growth startup to jumpstart a career in sales

Who You Are:

  • 0-2 years experience in a sales or client facing role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Passionate about sales and commercial real estate
  • An outstanding communicator, you love connecting with clients over the phone and via email
  • An excellent multi-tasker, you can prioritize your time effectively to keep all of your clients engaged
