Thaniya joined TED in early 2010 as Head of Product where she built a cross-disciplinary team of product professionals: managers, designers and researchers who work side by side engineers within the larger technology group.
Responsible for overall functional requirements gathering, client-side technical architecture, rapid prototyping, collaboration with various development teams, and delivery...more of enterprise-level front-end code. Engagement level varies between clients. Clients include MLB, Pepsi, Mastercard, Genzyme, NASCAR, Johnson&Johnson, Royal Sun Alliances (UK), Metretek, and Thomson.
Thaniya is a seasoned product executive with over 17 years of experience in media technology space. She’s built three teams from the ground up and helped grow recognizable media brands from ad hoc start-up mode to structured scalable system. Her work has been recognized by numerous awards, including Emmy, Peabody, Adobe MAX, Webby, and the prestigious National Design Award.
