The Difference Engine has been providing aspiring web developers with professional portfolio building experience in web development by creating websites and… · More apps for nonprofit organizations and small social enterprises pro bono for over a year. In order to continue the work of empowering those from non-traditional backgrounds to enter the tech industry as well as create impactful websites for mission based organizations with very little resources we need to obtain 501(c)(3) status to become a tax-exempt organization. We are already a registered nonprofit in the state of Illinois but that's not enough!
