We believe that transparency and accessible information makes the world a better place. For us, that means shaking up the $170B energy market for home heating oil and propane deliveries. More than 20 million homes and business in the U.S. depend on timely fuel deliveries, but less than 1% are currently outfitted with a smart monitor.
That's where we come in. Tank Utility's remote monitors and smart apps help fuel providers intelligently schedule deliveries (instead of guessing) and give homeowners increased peace of mind. Our customers benefit by reducing unnecessary deliveries eliminating billions of dollars in wasted efforts.
We need someone who knows how to completely take control and manage the top of the funnel. We know that there are thousands of propane and fuel oil providers out there, who are wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars per year making unnecessary deliveries and running out customers, but it’s up to us to find them, address their pains, and incorporate the solution.
We need a hunter. In this role you will be communicating with prospects who most likely don’t know what they need or quite frankly, they’re hesitant to just take the next step. It’s up to you to bring them from point A to point B. With a steady flow of leads coming in, this hunter needs to find and nurture the ones that are ready to take the next steps.
If you’re not willing to grind and find these opportunities that are out there, this role is not for you. Again, we are looking for a hunter.
Key responsibilities:
Prospecting from various mediums - CRM, Industry databases, and online
Converting leads to new opportunities through phone and email communication
Building relationships with leads
Working and navigating our CRM (Salesforce)
Communicating product feedback from the customer to our product team
Learning about the delivered fuel industry

Strong listening and communication skills
Requirements for this role:
Previous sales experience through internship or 6+ months of sales experience
Experience in SaaS industry is preferred
Experience on the phone preferred
Boston area, or remote available.
