Engagement Directors at Tandem Studio are responsible for leading engagement teams that deliver awesome Go-To-Market strategies for our clients. Their teams vary from project to project and can consists of a mix of experts across design, web development, content development, and user acquisition. The Go-To-Market strategies we build consist of a mix of brand, messaging, creative, paid UA strategy, product packaging, website, and analytics. They are responsible for making sure that we and the client are delivering on schedule and are focused on the right things at all times. They follow and optimize our testing recipe for driving successful business strategies. Client success is our most important metric and they are responsible for it. They work with clients that are fun, innovative, and forward thinking. They get excited when a client succeeds and live to celebrate it!
Note: This role is really ideal for a semi-technical marketer. In this role you must love branding, messaging, acquisition and design. It's not great if product is your real passion.
-5+ years building and launching products/businesses
-Experience as a marketer, product manager, or growth specialist
-Experience managing and motivating teams
-Worked in a start-up environment where you had to be scrappy
-Technical know-how around website building & analytics implementation
-Bonus points if you have some ability to write actual code
-Bonus points if you have some great design/photoshop skills
-Extra bonus points if you've previously launched your own company
-Been in client facing roles for 2+ years
-Knowledge and practice using a variety of marketing channels, in particular paid channels such as Facebook, Google, & Instagram
-You've written awesome awesome copy and messaging for your prior products
-You've loved working with internal and external “clients” and they loved working with you
-You have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to explain your ideas in clear methodical way
-You’re incredibly well organized and love to project manage
-Your peers find you to always be very polished in presentations and you offer great insight
-You're great at cranking work out but really appreciate the broader strategy behind the work
-You might call yourself a “growth hacker”, but that term may also make you cringe, because you do so much more
-You love the acronyms LTV, CAC, CPC, CTR, CPI, etc.
-You keep up with tech trends whether its via Medium, Hacker News, TechCrunch, or some cool new blog
-You've probably backed some Kickstarter projects...potentially to the disdain of your significant other
-You are detail oriented and know when to spend time thinking about the little things
-You're a self-proclaimed nerd and love to talk about your craft and your next project
