Welcome to the Syntax Ventures Syndicate. We invest in early-stage startups with ambitious founders and disruptive ideas.
I am a geek turned entrepreneur, angel investor, startup advisor, and mentor with a unique combination of engineering + product development + startup experience + building, managing & leading high-performance teams. I eat, sleep and breathe startups and entrepreneurship. I have been involved in the startup world for several years and have built a robust personal network over the years. I run Founder Weekly, one of the most popular weekly newsletters for founders with thousands of subscribers, including entrepreneurs, investors, and operators. I also run a couple of tech-focused newsletters, Python Weekly and Programmer Weekly, and have access to thousands of top-notch engineers in the industry.
Few things to keep in mind:
- Early-stage investing is a high risk. Invest only if you are comfortable losing the entire investment
- You can opt-out of any deal
- Do not expect updates, although I will share them when possible
- Early-stage investing is a long term game, and it might take 8-10 years or more for startups to have an exit
Dealflow
I am sector and geography agnostic. The deal flow comes from a solid personal network built over the years, and I plan on syndicating all of my deals where we have enough allocation, and the founder allows it.
