Job Description

Brands know video is critical to their success. The reality of creating professional video is expensive and often so scripted it lacks believability. User-generated video is authentic, but inconsistent, uncontrolled and can undermine the brand.

Storyvine is a 4.5 year-old Denver-based start-up that has created an innovative and patented way to produce high quality, user-generated video for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients. From patient testimonials, to KOL interviews, to capturing best practices & training, Storyvine solves a compelling problem for clients which range from Janssen to United Healthcare to Marriott and IBM.

Storyvine enables organizations to produce videos of people, globally and in near real-time. Our platform cost-effectively produces dozens, hundreds or even thousands of videos. We call this Professional User-Generated Content, or “Pro-UGC”.

But, you say, there are dozens of other video apps out there! You are correct! But those apps assume that their users know how to write scripts, film and edit video—all very specialized, time consuming tasks.

We take a different approach. We assume our customers just want everything to happen magically. Additionally, we have a robust feature set for the enterprise.

We believe we are uniquely positioned to disrupt the video market with a price point that allows companies to produce content that adds tremendous brand value, but would otherwise not be created due to the cost and complexity of existing solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You’ll have experience developing a sales plan, measuring it, and then executing against it. We’re looking for a polished and senior sales representative with the experience to deliver a professional pitch of a disruptive technology that’s sold as a service (SaaS.) You will be highly skilled at performing latent need discovery as well as identifying or creating compelling needs that can be fulfilled through our solution. Last but not least, you will need to be comfortable switching from a conservative client environment, e.g. Pharma to our relaxed, but hardworking and jovial culture.

This position is permanent and full-time and we’re ready for you to start immediately.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

-Ideally, you’ll have a home office somewhere between Philadelphia and New York City
-Travel includes quarterly travel to Denver, frequent regional travel along the Boston-New York – Philadelphia corridor and periodic national travel to attend healthcare conferences.
-You’ll report to the COO of Storyvine and have support from a sales coordinator.
-You’ll have the benefit of a proven product that has been in market for 3.5 years and generating real revenue, a vetted and measured sales process and newly allocated marketing budget.
-We work from 8 or 9am to 5pm, but since our clients are global, often need to be free on occasion to handle a client issue outside normal working hours. On the flip side, we understand the occasional need to leave at 3pm for a kid’s Dr. appointment.
-We have humility. We’re a small team, and while we pack a lot of punch, we don’t think we know it all. We pull in six-digit deals, but also don’t balk at taking out the trash.
