What I Do
Coding, learning, collaborating, and challenging the paradigm. Disruption is a buzzword, not a strategy. I'm a thinker, planner, and doer. I dream, but always stay grounded. Currently developing projects and enhancing web dev knowledge, seeking to teach computer science or deliver potent products.
One of ShowGo.io's most important features is the ability to immediately listen to the bands playing in the concerts. In order to do this I needed to create an automated system for finding bandcamp embeddable players for each band's newest EP or album. This problem required hours of research, a network of branching conditions, web-scraping, and the extensive use of the Google Custom Search API and the Facebook Social Graph API. It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a solution to a tricky problem.
