StartX is a startup accelerator and community for Stanford's top founders. Our mission is to advance the development of high-potential entrepreneurs through providing a trusted and talented community of entrepreneurs, mentorship from serial entrepreneurs, VCs, and domain experts, customized and experiential education, and resources.
StartX is an independent, Stanford-affiliated nonprofit located in Silicon Valley. We charge no fees and take no equity from founders who participate in our world-ranked accelerator program.
Since launching in 2010, we have supported more than 250 companies and 600 entrepreneurs. We are stage and sector agnostic.
StartX continues to thrive. On average, companies have raised $3.1 million in funding for a total of over $707 million. More than 85% of the companies we've supported survive today.
We hold three sessions of our program each year. Acceptance is highly selective.
