Job Description

As VP Sales, Mortgage Solutions at Spruce, you will:

● Execute on all aspects of the sales experience while building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at top lenders

● Help us define our solution, brand, and value proposition to the mortgage industry

● Prospect for new clients, build and deliver product presentations, develop sales

presentations and proposals, and manage the sales process through adoption

● Take a consultative sales approach that can map mortgage lenders’ business goals and challenges with Spruce solutions and services

● Partner with the CEO and Operations teams in driving strategy and ensuring customer success

● Attend conferences on behalf of Spruce, and travel to meet new prospects and existing clients

● Represent Spruce as a thought leader in the marketplace by participating in industry events and contributing to trade publications

Requirements:

● Equivalent of 8+ years of documented success exceeding enterprise sales targets in the mortgage technology business

● Experience driving a complex sales process, project and resource management

● Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to C-level executives

● Track record of negotiating, structuring and executing enterprise-level agreements

● Demonstrated passion, flexibility, and resourcefulness to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment; creativity and energy to be an agent for change

● Patient listener, who respects the opinions of others and can comfortably implement a project plan or idea different from their own

● Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
