Job Description

Account Manager can mean many things. For us it means managing and selling into client engagements in a super consultative way with no set playbook. It means being part of a scrappy startup moving a million miles an hour while helping staid, slow moving enterprise financial companies adopt a modern tech tool. If that sounds exciting, read on.

We're a small team tackling the massive mortgage market. We're bringing modern, elegant software to a field that still relies on fax machines and manila envelopes. We bring security, efficiency and joy to a paper-based pillar of the US economy.

We trust our team members to make smart decisions. This means we value both independent work as well as seeking collaboration. We're becoming ubiquitous in one segment of the market and we're looking to hire another thoughtful team member to help us expand further and to get stuff done!

In this crucial role, you will be the main client-facing lead to some of our largest strategic partnerships. This means you will drive 100% adoption of our software within our clients’ organizations, build relationships with key players, and maintain an ongoing communication cadence with clients. You will map out client organizations, identify their key needs, understand power dynamics, and their implications. As an early member of the strategic accounts team you will identify any product and process blockers for our accounts and communicate/solve these with internal partners.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years in management consulting, business development, account management or a related field where you’ve had to advise clients, dig into data to inform decisions, and drive back to clear business results. You’ve been successful growing revenue by driving account penetration. Your ability to  listen and negotiate helps you get clients to commit to next steps. Clients have come to respect and trust you for your ability to simply communicate complex ideas, listen to various perspectives, and prescribe the best course of action.
